Are you looking for date ideas in Kingston upon Hull? As the city of culture in 2017 there is loads to do and lots of great date ideas. Here are some of our top locations for a perfect first date…
Streetlife Museum of Transport
Entry to the Streetlife Museum of Transport is completely free so it’s perfect for the thrifty dater. They exhibitions from over 200 years of transport history, a 1940’s high street and loads more. As with any museum date, make sure it’s something you’re both interested in – or at least not bored by! The great thing about museums is they give you loads of talking points so there will be no awkward silences.
Hull’s Old Town
Wander the cobbled streets of Hull’s Old Town. There’s plenty to see and do. Why not stop for a drink in one of the may old pubs or restaurants? There are many slightly unusual claims to fame in this area, including the hotel with the smallest window in England and the Wilberforce House museum – the very old house William Wilberforce was born in.

East Park
East Park is a great date idea if you love the outdoors. It has a boating lake with bridges, ducks and geese. There is also an animal centre which is free to enter. Inside you’ll find alpacas, peacocks, parrots, sheep, goats, deer, mackaws, marmosets and loads more. This makes it perfect for animal-lovers!
